Tropos is an interactive platform capable of transforming neglected spaces into cooperative hubs by setting various opportunities for encounters and creating environments related to their surroundings. It focuses on engaging its users to choose the way they want to be seated and their location towards the sun path, hence the interdependence between human to human (weight dependency) and the human to environment (phototropism and freedom of choice dependency). This dialogue is morphed ergonomically to ensure comfort for its users while also catering intimate spaces for group gatherings in the midst of nature. People could either leverage from the sun exposure by choosing to sit on the outer side causing Tropos to open its wings hosting more groups in the sun or choose to sit in the shade initiating a branch of the platform to rotate in order to create a more sun-sheltering space. By creating Spaces for communications TROPOS addresses a way to mitigate social dispersion.
